Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Head of Information Security to lead day-to-day security operations with a strong emphasis on incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management. This leadership role partners with internal teams and client stakeholders to strengthen security posture, improve readiness, and support confident business operations in a fast-moving staffing environment.

This is a highly visible leadership position requiring technical depth and calm, practical decision-making

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity or related fields.
• 3-5+ years in security operations leadership.
• Hands-on experience with incident response and threat detection.
• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, and cloud security tools.
• Strong understanding of modern attack vectors and frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to remain calm during high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance security operations, including monitoring and incident response.
• Act as incident commander during major cybersecurity incidents.
• Own the operational incident response process and readiness exercises.
• Oversee threat detection and security investigations.
• Manage the vulnerability management program and coordinate remediation.
• Evaluate and optimize security tools and ensure integration.
• Serve as primary contact for client security inquiries and assessments.
