Ladders is seeking a Sr. Security Operations Manager to lead global security operations in the Finance & Insurance sector.

The role emphasizes incident response, detection engineering, and operational resilience, and you will manage a distributed team while partnering with a 24/7 MSSP. You will modernize security operations through AI and automation, create playbooks, define metrics, and drive root-cause improvements.

Formación

• 8+ years in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response.
• 3+ years of people management mentoring security teams.
• Experience leading major incident responses and coordinating multiple streams.
• Hands-on with AWS and security event investigations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily operations of the global Security Operations team and act as incident commander for major incidents.
• Manage a globally distributed team, set roadmaps and OKRs.
• Oversee MSSP relationship and SIEM health, including custom detections.
• Modernize operations with AI and automation to boost efficiency.
• Create incident response playbooks and training materials.
• Track post-incident action items and root-cause fixes with teams.
• Define and report KPIs to senior leadership, promoting security awareness.
