Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring an Operations Manager to lead onsite Account Managers, ensure client satisfaction, and drive security operations at multiple locations. You will coach teams, develop plans, and maintain regulatory compliance while delivering world-class service.

This role requires seven years of management experience in a high-volume environment, five years in the private security industry, and a proven ability to translate data into actionable improvements using BI tools and MS

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of management experience in a high-volume workforce environment or service industry.
• 5+ years of experience in the private security industry.
• 2+ years of experience in security management.
• 2+ years of experience driving operational goals and metrics.
• Leadership skills that foster teamwork, innovation, agility, client relations and achieving desired results.
• Ability to maintain a profitable book of business by cross-collaborating and utilizing results-oriented problem-solving skills to meet both client and employee growth and satisfaction.
• Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office and BI tools for metrics analysis, reporting, automation, and presentations.
• Dynamic networking skills showing commitment to safety and trust by participating in local community, client and industry events.
• Basic understanding of financial principles, including budgeting and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated abilities to grasp complex electronic access control, video surveillance, and security design concepts and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly proficient project management skills; effective planning and organizing, innovative problem solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills consistent with managing across a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers, providing coaching and development while promoting accountability and collaboration.
• Build and maintain relationships with a high-profile client, understand security needs, and implement corrective action plans for improvements.
• Deliver high-quality service by overseeing Account Managers while aligning with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze, report and drive operational metrics and KPIs using BI platforms to maximize efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate security risks; develop and implement security protocols and response plans.
• Establish a culture of safety by creating action plans to prevent injuries.
• Ensure consistent security officer service delivery across multiple site locations.
• Stay updated on operational, procedural, and systems topics affecting the guard program.
• Participate in and oversee accurate invoicing for client management review and payment.
• Manage projects involving security system installations, upgrades, and service work.
• Coordinate with security integrators providing services to the customer.
