Job summary

Wind Creek Chicago Southland is seeking a Security Shift Manager to supervise Security Officers, coordinate incident reporting, and ensure compliance with gaming regulations. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will manage staffing, risk controls, and safety programs across the property, while maintaining guest and employee safety and aligning with Wind Creek standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
• Two (2) years’ Security/Law Enforcement Supervisory experience required.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in law enforcement, public safety administration, active duty military security functions, or similar security capacity required.
• Two (2) years of experience in customer relations or guest services required.
• Must meet departmental physical fitness standards; a test may be required (lift up to 100 lbs, climb stairs, run distances).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to train and develop staff; SOPs development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs Security team.
• Schedules staffing and dispatch, including radio control.
• Maintains incident reports and logs; prepares detailed reports.
• Manages access control and keys for gaming facilities.
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Supports safety, crowd control, and emergency procedures.
• Coordinates with directors and managers across the organization.
• Trains and develops team members through coaching and corrective action.
