Job summary

Wind Creek Chicago Southland is seeking a Specialty Restaurant Manager to lead front-of-house operations, hire and train staff, and ensure exceptional guest service and quality products. You will manage budgets, staffing, and promotions while maintaining compliance and driving profitability in a high-energy casino dining environment.

The role requires supervisory experience in fine dining, strong communication, and willingness to travel for training as needed.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED – required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field AND two (2) years Supervisory experience – required.
OR Four (4) years’ experience in a Management position – required.
OR Three (3) years’ experience in a Supervisory position with Wind Creek Hospitality – required.
Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a Supervisory or Management position in a Specialty or Fine Dining Restaurant – required.
Experience in Asian cuisine – preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

Identifies and defines operational needs within the restaurant and implements beneficial changes.
On the floor visibility creating guest interaction.
Abide by all state and regulatory alcohol serving requirements.
Develops and implements customer service training programs and assures outstanding service.
Directs development and administration of costs for assigned outlets to maintain standards.
Develops staffing schedules for high service with productivity.
Develops and monitors budgets; responsible for profit/loss.
Mentors staff and promotes the restaurant and property.
