Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to support security operations at a large pharmaceutical facility in Andover, MA. You will be the second-in-command on site, working with the leadership team to oversee daily operations, coach Security Officers, and ensure efficient program performance.

The role requires the ability to manage people, balance priorities, and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations in a supervisory/management role.
• Ability to lead teams and oversee daily operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with scheduling and staffing.
• Ability to handle employee concerns in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor when working with client leadership.
• MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) proficiency.
• High school diploma or GED required; management training is a plus.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations at a large pharmaceutical facility.
• Lead a security program staffed at approximately 1,200 hours per week.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to Security Officers and site supervisors.
• Monitor staffing levels, scheduling across all shifts, and coverage.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development.
• Ensure personnel follow site procedures, post orders, and established protocols.
• Monitor performance, address concerns, and resolve personnel issues.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and performance reviews for quality and consistency.
• Maintain documentation, incident reports, schedules, and records.
• Build relationships with client representatives and internal leadership.
• Assist with investigations, incident response, and corrective actions.
