Job summary

Abbott in Madison, WI seeks a Security Supervisor to lead the Security Operations Center and field security for the 3rd shift. You will supervise a combined team of SPs and SEM Analysts, ensuring 24/7 coverage, safety, and rapid response to incidents.

You’ll coordinate schedules, training, and performance reviews, while collaborating with Facilities, EHS, and law enforcement. The role emphasizes leadership, strong judgment, and confidentiality in a high‑stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in security-related field.
• 4+ years in corporate security or 24/7 ops.
• Experience in field security and SOC/SEM operations.
• Familiar with access control, CCTV, alarms, dispatch.
• Strong communication, organization, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field security and SOC activities for the assigned shift.
• Manage workforce administration: schedules, PTO, attendance, timekeeping.
• Provide supervisory leadership during incidents and emergencies.
• Supervise and develop employees with coaching, training, reviews.
• Maintain operational readiness and ensure compliance with procedures.
