Job summary

TD Bank is hiring a Physical Security – Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Specialist to meet safety and security needs for employees, visitors and assets. The role involves reporting, triaging incidents, threat monitoring and policy adherence in a 24/7 environment.

You will support security projects, coordinate guards, and interact with emergency services as required, ensuring security metrics align with department goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Relevant work experience preferred.
• Ability to work within a 24 hour department with a rotating schedule.
• Shift work experience in a 24 hour operation preferred.
• Strong Customer service and communication; Call center/phone experience preferred.
• Strong documentation, investigative, and report writing skills.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and other PC-based programs.
• Personal presence, intellect, energy and drive to succeed in a high-performance environment.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and working with large amounts of data and information.
• Ability to prioritize tasks while working with competing priorities.
• Ability to collaborate in and support a team environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to plan and successfully complete tasks within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor for threats, trends and incidents affecting TD Bank personnel and assets.
• Write detailed reports with escalation considerations.
• Coordinate with risk functions on policies and controls.
• Liaise with emergency services during incidents.
• Support onsite contract security staff and projects related to physical security.
