Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Coordinator, Security Operations Specialist I within Global Workplace Services. You will operate in the Global Security Operation Center (GSOC), monitor alarms, coordinate incident communications, and produce detailed security reports while supporting partners and vendors.

The role requires flexible shifts including weekends/evenings, strong written communication, investigation mindset, and ability to handle security events.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in one or more security-related fields.
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Intake of critical response communications
• Responding to calls for equipment service and information about security-related technology systems
• Monitor and respond to security alarms utilizing monitoring tools and cameras
• Synthesize large amounts of information quickly
• Create a comprehensive documented record of security-related incidents
• Coordinate routine and critical incident communications
• Understand the proper use of security-related tools and procedures
• Implement access control procedures
• Assist with physical security validations for partners and vendors
• Support general security, first responder, and law enforcement engagement and response to incidents
• Escalate to supervisors when appropriate
