Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Coordinator, Security Operations Specialist I in Global Workplace Services to support the 24/7 GSOC in Riverwoods, IL. You will coordinate incident communications, monitor alarms and access control, and document security incidents to help keep employees and facilities safe.

The role requires 2+ years in security-related fields and 1+ year experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in law enforcement, military, corporate security, risk, emergency management or customer service.
• 1+ year experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Associate degree or higher preferred; 3+ years in security operations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Intake of critical response communications.
• Respond to calls for equipment service and information about security-related technology systems.
• Monitor security alarms and cameras to identify threats and resolve issues.
• Synthesize large amounts of information quickly.
• Create a comprehensive documented record of security incidents.
• Coordinate routine and critical incident communications.
• Implement access control procedures.
• Assist with physical security validations for partners and vendors.
• Support security engagements with first responders and law enforcement.
