Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring part-time unarmed security officers for a site at Toyota Motors North America PDC in Kansas City, MO. This role requires weekend 12-hour shifts and availability 30 days in advance. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with a quarterly $100 attendance bonus for consistent shifts.

The team focuses on access control, customer service, and security monitoring. Ideal candidates have security or customer service experience and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must be able to obtain a valid State security license.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience OR one year of security experience.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and other criminal behavior.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and/or in possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties to be determined by management

This is a Part Time position. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Must be available for 12 hour shifts on the weekends. Availability must be submitted 30 Days in advance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience OR one year of security experience
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
