Job summary

Marksman Security is hiring a 2nd Shift - Unarmed Security Officer for the Toyota Motor Manufacturing site in Troy, Missouri. Compensation is $18.50 per hour with a 40-hour week on a 1st and 2nd shift schedule; Sundays, Thursdays, and Fridays off.

The ideal candidate has security and customer service experience and can stand for extended periods. Responsibilities include access control, monitoring surveillance, and reporting incidents.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
High school degree or equivalent.
Valid state licensing.
Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
Minimum of one year of security experience.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and guests promptly and courteously.
Manage guest/visitor access and evict trespassers when needed.
Verify credentials of individuals/vehicles entering or leaving.
Maintain visitor logs and notify residents of arrivals.
Protect people and equipment and enforce site policies.

2nd Shift - Unarmed Security Officer

Site Location: Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Missouri - 100 Cherry Blossom Way Troy, MO 63379

Marksman Security is looking for qualified candidates to join our team of dedicated and compassionate security officers and firefighters.

Security Officer $18.50 p/hr.

Monday thru Wednesday 1:00pm - 9:00pm & Saturday 5:00am to 5:00pm

40 Hour Week - 1st & 2nd Shift

(Sundays, Thursdays & Fridays Off)

The ideal candidate MUST have previous experience in security and customer service fields.

Looking for passionate, skilled professionals to join our team. Must be reasonably physically fit and able to stand and walk for periods of time.

Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.

What You'll Do

Rover — Vehicle/foot patrols; deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity
Gatehouse — Access control; greet and ID residents/guests, log vehicles, announce visitors
Front Desk — Customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements

Responsibilities:

Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
Other duties to be determined by management

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
High school degree or equivalent
Valid state licensing
Professional demeanor and appearance
Basic computer skills
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Minimum of one year of customer service experience
Minimum of one year of security experience
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
