Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring for a 3rd shift Security Officer at the Toyota Motors North America PDC site in Kansas City, MO. The role runs Monday through Thursday 9:00pm–5:00am with Fridays through Sundays off, paying $19.00 per hour.

As a gatehouse/front desk professional, you will manage access, greet residents and guests, monitor CCTV and alarms, and log visitor activity. A quarterly attendance bonus of $100 is available for reliable officers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must be able to obtain a valid State security license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience OR one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Gatehouse — Access control; greet and ID residents/guests, log vehicles, announce visitors
• Front Desk — Customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements
• Responsibilities: Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor's arrival
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by management
