Job summary

Marksman Security is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for the Toyota Motor Manufacturing site in San Antonio, TX. The 3rd shift runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, with Saturdays and Sundays off. A $50 sign-on bonus is offered for active Guard Card holders who meet eligibility after 90 days.

This professional role focuses on access control, visitor management and safety, with opportunities for growth within a service-driven team at a premier automotive facility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid state licensing required.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests courteously and log visits.
• Manage guest/visitor access and enforce premises policies.
• Verify credentials of individuals and vehicles.
• Document visitor logs and inform residents of arrivals.
• Support in protecting people and property and enforce procedures.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms; respond to incidents.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas for safety risks.
• Warn violators and respond to emergencies by contacting responders.
• Identify and report safety or security concerns promptly.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Security Officer $17.50 per hour

3rd Shift

Monday - Friday: 9:00pm - 5:00am

• Gatehouse — Access control; greet and ID residents/guests, log vehicles, announce visitors

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by management
