Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Access Screening Security Officer in Rock Hill, SC. You will monitor entry points, verify access, screen visitors, and respond to security concerns while maintaining a professional presence.

This role offers weekend hours (Saturday and Sunday) with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour, plus opportunities to work at multiple sites and access to Allied Universal's smart tools and training programs.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of security-related experience preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor records, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, trauma-informed, problem-solving manner, requesting appropriate assistance when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
• Maintain awareness of resident privacy and confidentiality while communicating professionally with staff and visitors.

• Sat 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
