Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Juvenile Correctional Security Officer - Access Authorization in Ridgeville, SC. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support a secure environment for staff and visitors, while delivering strong customer service.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, maintaining records, reporting incidents, and conducting patrols. Applicants should meet minimum requirements and be prepared for a background check and possible drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months security-related experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license where the job is located.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and youth residents while following site access procedures.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct individuals as required.
• Control access to restricted areas and report incidents or policy violations.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies per established protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations.
