Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Credential Access in West Columbia, SC. You will support site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide courteous customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at assigned entry points by verifying credentials, processing visitors and delivery personnel, and maintaining accurate access logs.
• Monitor vehicle, pedestrian, and/or loading dock activity and report unauthorized access attempts, unusual conditions, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and communicating with supervisors and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
