You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.


• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.


• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with healthcare staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
