Responsibilities

• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site reporting requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Panel Operations in Camp Hill, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-related questions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
