Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.

• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and access-control procedures as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and activities per policies.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Alarm Assessment in Camp Hill, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms as needed. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
  Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications, email communication, and data entry.
• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  Candidates must possess strong customer service skills. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
