Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts, and report unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents.

As a Security Officer Patrol Incident Reporting in Camp Hill, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. Use your customer service and communication skills while working with computer or tablet-based systems. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Navigating operating systems and software applications.
  • Utilizing email and communication tools effectively.
  • Performing basic troubleshooting for common technical issues.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):Candidates must possess prior customer service experience. This includes:

  • Engaging with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Resolving customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Demonstrating strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
  • Candidates must demonstrate prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee and visitor access badges.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202):
  • Applicants should have experience operating alarm panels, including knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, and troubleshooting procedures. Familiarity with various alarm systems is preferred.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with healthcare staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
