Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Baltimore, MD to screen visitors and items, support access control, and maintain a welcoming, secure environment at a technology location. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and careful use of screening equipment.

The position offers part-time hours with a 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM shift schedule and opportunities to claim additional shifts via our platform.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel while enforcing site security procedures.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages and deliveries per access control procedures; verify credentials and direct to areas.
• Monitor entry points, visitor management systems, and screening equipment; report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies per site procedures; remain calm and solve problems.
• Maintain logs and incident reports; conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter.

Pay Rate: $21.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a technology location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established access control procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry points, visitor management systems, and screening equipment; report irregularities, prohibited items, and access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
