Qualifications

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Background histories considered in line with law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and personal belongings entering or leaving the location per procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect items, reporting prohibited items or irregularities to site leadership.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs for screening activities and incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents and deter unauthorized access while supporting operations.

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and team members by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and personal belongings entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect packages, bags, and other items as directed, reporting prohibited items, irregularities, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate logs and documentation related to screening activities and incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, while helping to deter unauthorized access and loss‑related activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
