Allied Universal® in Chester, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Identity Screening to protect clients across tech, media, telecom environments. You will monitor access points, screen visitors and deliveries, and report security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers a flexible schedule, with a part-time shift pattern and opportunities to learn through our Claim a Shift platform.

Formación

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals and authorized items entering designated areas using established procedures, maintaining a professional and respectful approach while helping to support controlled access.
• Verify identification, visitor credentials, and access authorization in accordance with site policies; direct guests and vendors to appropriate check-in locations or contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, prohibited-item concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate logs and complete required reports related to screenings, visitor activity, incidents, and other security-related matters.

• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:
