Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Screening Verification) in Chester, VA. You will safeguard clients, monitor access points, screen visitors and belongings, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

You'll provide excellent customer service while following site procedures, with a flexible part-time schedule and the opportunity to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Formación

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a high-traffic technology location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Screen individuals, personal belongings, and deliveries using approved screening equipment and procedures, escalating prohibited items or irregularities in accordance with site protocols.
• Verify identification, access credentials, and visitor authorization before allowing entry to restricted or controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate screening logs, visitor records, and incident documentation; conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas and nearby access points.

• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
