Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking a Security Officer - Access Control to protect our site in FAIRLESS HILLS, PA. You will greet drivers, verify credentials, and manage inbound/outbound traffic at the gate, always staying alert and professional.

This full-time role offers a set 6:30AM-3:00PM shift, competitive hourly pay of $17.50, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options. Uniforms are provided to keep you ready for duty.

Responsibilities

• Staff the guard booth and main entry for truck and vehicle traffic.
• Greet drivers, carriers, vendors, and contractors professionally.
• Verify driver IDs, bills of lading, and delivery documents before access.
• Record truck, trailer, and seal numbers and maintain inbound/outbound logs.
• Inspect trailers and vehicles per site procedures.
• Direct trucks to docks, parking, or staging areas.
• Operate gates and monitor CCTV and access control systems from the booth.
• Communicate with shipping, receiving, and site management by phone or radio.
• Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, or potential threats.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

What matters most in a role like this is your professional presence and sharp eye at the gate. Tell us about how you keep traffic moving while making sure every truck that enters is supposed to be there.

As a Security Officer - Access Control, you will be the first point of contact for every driver who pulls up to the site. Whether it’s checking driver credentials, verifying paperwork, logging trailer and seal numbers, or directing trucks to the right dock, we need you to stay alert, organized, and in control of who comes and goes.

Driver’s license required (site is not accessible by public transportation).

Site Location: FAIRLESS HILLS, PA 19030 (25 Miles from Philadelphia).

Set schedule: FULL TIME, First shift. Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3:00PM (40 Hours Per Week).
