GardaWorld Security is hiring a Security Officer to protect people and property across various sites, including office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. You will prioritize customer service, greet visitors, verify identities, and help maintain safe environments.

Responsibilities include managing access control, conducting patrols, reporting incidents, and coordinating with emergency teams. A strong candidate has 3+ years in security, plus a valid DCJS license where required.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• 3+ years security, military, or law enforcement experience
• State license if required
• Active DCJS
• At least 21 years of age
• Stand, walk, and sit for long periods
• Outgoing with strong customer service and communication
• Open availability
• No face, neck, or hand tattoos
• Maintain GardaWorld grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards

As a Security Officer – There is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

• Schedule: Schedule will be as needed based on site needs. The ideal candidate will have open availability (mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends). Full time hours are not guaranteed.

Qualifications for Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• You have at least 3+ years Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
• You have an active DCJS
• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Must be outgoing and have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must have open availabilty
• Must have no face, neck, or hand tattoos
• Must be able to maintain GardaWorld's grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards
