Job summary

Allied Universal in Sparks, Nevada is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Credential Verification Patrol. The position is full time, pays $25.00 per hour, and requires you to monitor and protect client sites, control access, assist visitors and employees, and respond to incidents with professionalism and teamwork.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of vehicle storage areas, service and delivery areas, parking lots, access points, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations and security-related activities per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Credential Verification Patrol in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at an automotive-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of vehicle storage areas, service and delivery areas, parking lots, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
