Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Unarmed at a Sparks, NV location. You will provide customer service, patrol the automotive facility, monitor access points, and respond to security concerns while upholding a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

This full-time role offers daytime and evening shifts with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. Applicants must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles) with a high school diploma and pass background and drug screenings where allowed by law.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer - Unarmed - Facility Protection in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at an automotive location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the automotive facility, parking areas, service lanes, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe incoming and outgoing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
