Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility operations areas, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, maintain accurate activity logs, and promptly communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support a professional presence at the location while adhering to post orders, client procedures, and applicable regulations.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Driver in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
