As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Badge Verification in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will drive to conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, manage access control and badge activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility location grounds, buildings, access points, equipment areas, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
• Maintain awareness of changing conditions across the utility location and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
