Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for an automotive location in Sparks, NV. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service. This is a full-time, daytime shift with a $25.00 hourly pay rate.

You will work a schedule that includes morning shifts across multiple days, focusing on integrity, teamwork, and a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.
• Positive driver’s license for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Asset Protection in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive facility areas, vehicle lots, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and report unusual activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and property loss through a visible presence, consistent patrol activity, and timely reporting of concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
