Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Knoxville, TN. You will monitor and protect the site, provide friendly customer service, and respond to incidents with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; report observations and complete required incident documentation.
• Help support the orderly movement of people and vehicles around shipping and receiving operations while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. What You'll Do:
