Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Prevention in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
