• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct guests as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document actions and notify site leadership.
• Complete detailed activity and incident reports and shift logs.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Risk Recognition in Reston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
