Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Emergency Response in Richmond, VA. You will provide professional security and customer service, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm, decisive action.

Qualifications

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Emergency Response in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:
