• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols in manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor location access by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document accurately for reporting.
• Observe and report conditions such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, or equipment irregularities to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Computer Reporting in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and preparing accurate incident documentation.
• Observe and report conditions such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, equipment irregularities, or other security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
