Allied Universal in Peoria, IL is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist. You will monitor and patrol designated areas at a manufacturing/industrial site, provide professional customer service, deter incidents, and report security concerns to site leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as part of the employment process.
• A drug screen will be required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while following site policies and responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following post orders.
• Patrol production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter for security concerns.
• Verify credentials and monitor visitor/contractor activity.
• Prepare reports and log security observations for site leadership.
