Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Orange, TX, focused on unarmed patrol duties at a chemical/petrochemical site. You will provide customer service, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, a TSA-issued TWIC, a valid driver’s license, and prioritize reliability and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following reporting procedures.
• Document observations, patrol activities, incidents, and security concerns and communicate to site contacts and leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document observations, patrol activities, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
