Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and site policies at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor and report hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports as required.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Thur 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Fri 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
