Job summary

Allied Universal in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service in a chemical/petrochemical environment.

You will work day shifts on a rotating schedule with pay at $18.36 per hour, weekly pay, and access to growth opportunities through our Claim a Shift platform, while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screening will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor and report access-control concerns and other security incidents per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site personnel and emergency responders when required.
• Follow chemical processing location protocols and wear required PPE.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support site operations through routine patrols and timely reporting while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and report access-control concerns, suspicious activity, equipment damage, and other security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders when required.
• Follow chemical processing location protocols, including required personal protective equipment and restricted-area requirements, while completing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
