Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, access points, perimeter locations, and surrounding grounds to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report security-related concerns, unusual conditions, equipment issues, and potential hazards to site personnel.
• Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements, maintaining logs/reports.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, access points, perimeter locations, and surrounding grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report security-related concerns, unusual conditions, equipment issues, and potential hazards to appropriate site personnel.
• Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate activity logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
