Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, and parking areas.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, credential verification, and direction of patients and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
