Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Accountability in Atlanta, GA. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with potential to pick up additional shifts at other sites. Pay rate is $18.10 per hour and a base schedule is provided.

You will serve in a healthcare setting, performing unarmed patrols, access monitoring, and incident reporting on a site with fixed shifts and an option to earn more through extra shifts.

Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience or more.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; report observations to the right personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and guide people as needed.
• Prepare clear incident and activity reports meeting Allied Universal/site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Accountability in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures; assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and unusual observations, following Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
