Qualifications

• Drug screen as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly and notify appropriate contacts or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and direct visitors and staff to appropriate locations as needed.
• Document incidents and patrol activities and communicate findings to leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations when needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
