Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Albany, GA. This part-time, unarmed role patrols hospital premises, monitors access points, and provides exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a commitment to safety. Pay is $15.00 per hour with a daytime schedule and shift-claim platform access.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as conditions of employment.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; assist with directions and escorts as needed to support a welcoming healthcare environment.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
