Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in Baltimore, MD, to safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and vendors within a healthcare setting. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service in a professional manner.

Role offers a flexible schedule via the Claim a Shift platform. Candidates should have at least two years in security, a high school diploma, and be prepared for background checks

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while responding to security-related needs. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, badge verification, and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
