As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 06:45 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 06:45 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 06:45 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and the reporting of unauthorized individuals or suspicious activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
