Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer for a Behavioral Support Patrol at a healthcare location in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position focuses on customer service, safety procedures, and incident response while patrolling facilities and monitoring access points.

The role requires interaction with patients and staff, adherence to protocols, and a commitment to a professional, calm approach in emergencies. Training and growth opportunities are provided by Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
• Able to restrain individuals.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation may be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escort requests as assigned, and report suspicious behavior or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

Pay Rate: $16.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:
