Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Hospital Patrol in Baltimore, MD. You will serve patients, visitors, and staff, monitoring entrances and patrolling assigned areas to deter incidents and maintain a safe environment.

Your duties include responding to emergencies, enforcing site policies, and providing excellent customer service while communicating clearly with leadership and site representatives. Evening to night shifts are available, with a strong focus on safety and service.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license only for driving positions.

Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, wayfinding, and adherence to site access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Preferred: Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred: CPR and First Aid certification.
• Preferred: CPR certification.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
